Bloody Hell! That just bites. Though I have been having the whole sore boob thing but that was explained today so I am not worried anymore *whew*
With the new pill does it give any information on temporary side effects. Perhaps the drug that is in it needs to stabilise in your body. It would be good to find out because then you will know if it will flush out of your system in another week, or if there is a real problem.
That is a big jump and you have been really good so the only explanation seems to be the meds.
I say Google it straight away, then call your Dr in the morning to see if they have any information on it.
Don't let it get you down until you check it all out. Keep eating well, keep drinking and keep moving. It may just all go away by itself :)
Heck! What a shock that must have been for you!
Which Pill is it? I use Levlen, which is very cheap and does the job, no side effects at all. I used to be on Diane 35ED, which was supposed to help my skin, but it was so expensive, so when I went on Roaccutane, I switched to a cheaper one and haven't looked back.
Try not to be too upset (but I know I would be too) - just keep doing what you were doing - eating well, exercising regularly, perhaps you'll be back to normal in a week or so - it might take a while for your body to get used to the new medication. Regardless, I'd be talking to your doctor ASAP!
Take care xo
**GASP**
Oh my god that is NUTS!!!!!
What pill are you on???
My doctor gave me Yasmin and said that it shouldnt cause any weight problems (and hasnt so far touch wood) so maybe you could try that one?
Maybe its just fluid retention???
Hope you are feeling better soon!
Hi Cath,
I've been silently reading and enjoying your blog. What a shock 4kg! Just to let you know of another method of contraception that I use is an Implanon. You have probably heard of it but if not, it's a rod that gets inserted into your inner upper arm and it stays there for 3 years. I am onto my second one now (and I am the biggest chicken when it comes to needles etc) Just thought I would let you know of that other option.
I hope you sort it out soon. Dont let it get you down, you have done such a wonderful job with all you have achieved with your weight loss. Have a great day!
Chantel
OMG, that is terrible. It must be all fluid. You couldn't possibly put on that much. I would go back to the Dr now, if I were you. Doesn't sound like it suits you at all. Hope you get it sorted out quickly.
Wanted to see how you are, and to tell you again how much I love my new Digital Doll. Even put her as my profile pic but I see Deb beat me to the punch. LOL. I think you have started something here.
Have a great day :)
Just checking in to see how you are. Hope all is well now.
