Achievements this week

I don't have much time right now but I wanted to post (for my own benefit) a few things that have actually worked out health wise:

- I've gone for 3 walks since sunday
- I've nearly kept to points most days, and yesterday finished on just 19!
- I've drunk tonnes of water.
- I've prepared and eaten vegetables properly and in the right quantities for 4 days straight.
- I've eaten at least one piece of fruit each day.

There. I know one week of goodness doesn't exactly make up for about 7 weeks of, well, badness, but I do feel that the effort I made with the planning this week as made a big difference.

I'm going on a different pill this month, so I apparently won't be getting the dreaded monthlies for about 4 months. The doc did warn that I could still experience extra water retention though. Have to see how it goes.

I have stopped trying to lose weight for a while (I am under the ww goal weight which is fine for now), and am concentrating on well, not putting any more on, which means listening to my body occasionally and giving it the things it needs, not necessarily what it wants!

Good luck with maintaining - sounds like you have got it worked out right. Good for you for making a list of the positive things you have done - I think sometimes we forget about the good we have done and focus our concentration on the things we have done wrong - well done !

Yaaaa for a good week. Do you feel better for it. I must admit I have gone the other way, a sort of 30 Day project (but just for the week) and I am feeling less than rosy. I need to plan it out like you have done and inject some interest into the meals at night.

I have been using too many excuses to take short cuts, or bad cuts, this week.

Congratulations on a great week - I'm sure you feel great about achieving all those things you listed. The little things can make a big difference. I too have been very focused this week, and have found that I'm feeling more positive and better about where I'm heading. Hurray for good weeks!
